One of our patients recently volunteered to talk with a new prospective patient who wanted a reference - she wanted to talk with someone who had been through Dr. Tebbetts procedure and who had really experienced a 24 Hour Recovery®.  It is a breast augmentation recovery experience worth sharing - this is truly what happens with breast augmentation recovery in Dallas at the hands of Dr. Tebbetts!

Breast augmentation recovery experience:

I am a patient of Dr. Tebbetts, a breast augmentation surgeon in Dallas.  Krystin, in his office, asked if I would email you a reference, which I am happy to do. I had my surgery 4.5 weeks ago and I am AMAZED at how well it went and how great I feel. This was a decision I had contemplated over the past 16 years (following nursing 2 kids) and I wish I had done it sooner. I am 42 years old and a fitness trainer, but no matter how much I worked out I hated my breasts. Even though I was a 34B it was like the life had gone out of them and I couldn't find a bra that would actually fit so I ended up wearing a sports bra all the time which flattened my chest and made me feel very unfeminine and unattractive. After a recent change in my life, I took the plunge and scheduled the surgery on a trusted friend's recommendation of Dr. Tebbetts without even meeting him first, after she told me she wouldn't consider anyone else. I literally met him the day before the surgery. But I did read his book and Terrye was great at putting my mind at ease and answering all of my questions. Even though his office is always full, he has a way of making you feel like you are his only patient, and you are, for a moment. He is a master.

After the surgery, which I was very nervous about, my boyfriend took me home and as directed let me sleep for 2 hours. I DID NOT want to get up. At that point I really thought maybe I had made a bad decision. I was completely unrealistic about how rough the first few days are. Or maybe I'm just a wimp! However, once you get through the first 24 hours you are home free. You must follow those directions they give you. I was 90% back to normal life after 3 days. At 2 weeks I was 99%. Although I am still a little sore, I can do everything now and they feel like mine. I don't notice there are foreign objects in my body - which I wondered about before surgery. And they aren't fragile, which I also worried about.

I am perfectionist and every day after the surgery I would look in the mirror and compare - to each other, to the day before, to Day 1 lol. Early on they change almost daily and  I would fret over every difference. Now, they are PERFECT. Even the feeling is starting to come back to my nipples, even though the feeling is pain - at least the nerves are regenerating. I hear they will continue getting better and better (more natural) over the next few months.

Another thing I love about Dr. Tebbetts is his philosophy about not having to choose the size. Your body chooses the right size (which is about what you were during pregnancy). I don't really know what size I am, probably between a C and a D, but the great thing is, I can play them up or play them down, depending on what look I want. Sometimes I look at them and think, wow, they are big! Other times I wonder if they are big enough. I guess that's how I know they are "just right". One less thing to worry about. I don't think it's obvious to others I had a "boob job" and that's how I wanted it to be. I have a 16 year old son and he hasn't mentioned anything about it.

Well, that's kind of the highlights of my experience. I would completely recommend the surgery and Dr. Tebbetts. You can put complete trust in him. If you have ANY questions at all I would be happy to answer them. I had so many great people, both friends and strangers, that helped me through the experience. It is life-changing. Glad to give back.

Best of luck!
